To sum up briefly, after spending several years in Paris for studies (Sorbonne) and work, I moved to London in early 2012 where I joined an Foreign Exchange trading team and developed FX trading ideas using a global macro approach (intraday and medium term views). My interest in finance combined with the city’s dynamism have allowed me to meet traders, investors or fund managers with whom I shared some really interesting discussions. I then created this blog in January 2014, where I sometimes express my views and opinions about the financial market.
I am currently doing my PhD in Finance here in London, and my areas of interest are monetary policy, the history of currencies and the development of FX fair value models, corporate and sovereign defaults and the different schools of economic thoughts.
